Cadwell Park motor racing circuit in the Lincolnshire Wolds has today (Tuesday 11 March) confirmed a stellar motorsport calendar for 2025, with an eclectic mix of two and four-wheel events scheduled from March to November.
Bennetts BSB’s Bank Holiday bash
The Bennetts British Superbike Championship’s bank holiday bonanza (23-25 August) headlines the calendar, with three days of top-level motorcycle competition. Championship contenders will hope to score big as the season builds towards its final rounds. Reigning champion Kyle Ryde will be amongst those flying high over The Mountain, alongside big name rivals like Tommy Bridewell and Glenn Irwin.
A thrilling triple-header will comprise an opening feature race on Sunday following qualifying, ahead of a sprint race and another full-distance epic on Monday. The electric atmosphere makes this a must-attend Bennetts BSB event with on-site camping selling out every year. Live music and entertainment will add to the atmosphere of an event like no other on the venue’s calendar.
Two-wheeled action all-year-long
Cadwell Park’s reputation as one of the world’s classic challenges for motorcycle riders means the venue remains a staple for many bike racing organisations, not just Bennetts BSB. The two-wheeled calendar kicks off with the NG Road Racing Club Bike Championships on 12/13 April, with other early-season highlights including the British Historic Motorcycle Championships for vintage machinery on 10/11 May.
Other motorcycle events during the summer will include the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (7/8 June), BMCRC Club Bike Championships (5/6 July), Summer Bike Bash (19/20 July) and the popular annual BMCRC International Sidecar Revival on 2/3 August. Cadwell Park will also welcome No Limits Racing (16/17 August) before the British Historic Motorcycle Championships make a return visit on 13/14 September. Cadwell Moto (27/28 September) and Norasport and British Supermoto Championships (18/19 September) will round out another busy year for bike fans.
Four-wheel thrills at Cadwell
A mixture of car events will take to the track this year too, with modern and retro machinery taking to the circuit’s undulating layout. High-profile highlights will include Modified Live, bringing the outrageous tuned machines and sideways action of Time Attack UK and Drift Pro, with a one-off competition drift event, to Cadwell Park on bank holiday Monday 5 May.
The circuit will be transformed into a series of bespoke stages twice this year for the Protyre Circuit Rally Championship. Modern rally cars as well as nostalgic favourites will take on challenging stages featuring on and off-track sections at the Alan Healy Memorial Rally (6 April) and the Cadwell Park Stage Rally and Fireworks on 16 November.
Further highlights include Cult Classics, which returns on 6 September for a late summer celebration of beloved retro motors and the BRSCC Mega Mix Weekend (9/10 August).
The full car racing calendar will also include the BARC Midlands Sprint (29 March) in addition to visits from the Scottish Motor Racing Club, 750 Motor Club and MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR).
Classic favourites
The circuit will be transported back in time at selected meetings that celebrate the history of racing automobiles this year. This includes the Historic Sports Car Club’s Wolds Trophy on 24/25 May and the VSCC's Vintage Motorsport Festival on 21 June.
Additional grassroots fixtures for retro machinery include the Classic Sports and GT Cars event on 19 April, organised by Equipe Classic Racing, and the CSCC Classic Race Weekend on 17/18 May.
