Exciting 2024 Cadwell Park calendar announced for circuit's 90th anniversary

23 February 2024

A packed Cadwell Park motorsport calendar has been fully confirmed for the circuit’s 90th anniversary year. A range of two and four-wheel events will take place at the legendary Lincolnshire track with action from March through to November.

BSB’s Bank Holiday bonanza

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship’s August Bank Holiday extravaganza (24-26) returns for three days of premier motorcycle competition. Reigning champion Tommy Bridewell leads a shaken-up field after his switch to Honda Racing UK. Meanwhile, Jason O’Halloran will line up with Kawasaki after a long stint on Yamaha machinery.

A dramatic triple-header is the centrepiece with sprint action on Sunday after qualifying before two feature races on Monday. The festival atmosphere makes this a must-attend BSB event every year with many fans camping for the full weekend and enjoying live music and entertainment once the track action concludes.

Cars at Cadwell

Four-wheeled favourites, both modern and retro, will take to the track at a host of events through 2024. Cult Classics will return on 11 August, after its debut last year bringing much-loved roadgoing cars together for a bespoke show. Old favourites will be present on and off-circuit with racing and displays providing an eclectic day out.

The UK’s most outrageous tuned cars will take over Cadwell during Modified Live on May Bank Holiday (6 May). The Motorsport UK Drift Pro and Time Attack categories will stage rounds on the technical circuit with entertainment and car displays off-track.

On two occasions this season, the circuit will be vastly transformed for visits from the MGJ Circuit Rally Championship. Rally cars old and new will take on stages made up of on and off-track routes. The Alan Healy Memorial Cadwell Stages (31 March) will test drivers and co-drivers in the early spring whilst the Cadwell Park Stage Rally and Fireworks finishes the season in style with rallying into the night and a dazzling fireworks display.

Heritage heroes

The circuit will take a step back in time at the Historic Wolds Trophy (18/19 May) to re-experience motorsport’s golden past. Classic single-seaters, touring cars and more will race at one of the circuit’s major period events.

The unique sight of sidecar racing will headline the British Motorcycle Racing Club’s International Sidecar Revival (3/4 August). The two-manned, three-wheeled machines will take centre stage at this summer meeting which showcases the true skill and bravery of the riders.

The Vintage Motorsport Festival (15 June) will bring antique automobiles from the early 20th century to Cadwell Park for a dedicated day of classic racing. The cars competing are among the oldest in competition dating back to at least the 1920s.

Historic two-wheel action at the circuit includes two visits from the British Historic Motorcycle Championships (11/12 May and 14/15 September) in addition to the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club summertime meeting (29/30 June).

Club racing all year round

A full season of club racing will commence with the BARC Midlands Sprint (23 March) for four-wheeled machines, while the two-wheel bow comes from the No Limits Club Bike Championships (13/14 April).

Suzuki Live (22/23 June) will devote a whole weekend to celebrating the stalwart Japanese manufacturer with track action exclusive to motorcycles from the brand. Further special track days are available at Cadwell Moto (21/22 September) with vintage and modern classics all taking part in circuit sessions and parades.

Top UK motorsport clubs visiting in 2024 include MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR), the British Motorcycle Racing Club, NG Road Racing, the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC) and the 750 Motor Club.

Under-13s get in for free

Children aged under 13 always go free to events at Cadwell Park making this a great value day for the whole family. There are discounts for teenagers aged 13-15 and savings are available on all tickets booked in advance.

Season Passes still available
